Who Is Nadia Parkes? Tom Holland's New Girlfriend Has an Impressive Résumé

It's (Instagram) official, y'all — Tom Holland is off the market. On July 27, the actor posted an IG pic of up-and-coming actress Nadia Parkes, and fans are already shipping the two. The Daily Mail first reported the maybe-relationship back in May, with an insider reportedly claiming the two had been together for three months by that point. "It was early days for Tom and Nadia when the lockdown was announced in London," an insider told the publication. "Tom has told friends and family they're in an official relationship and living together so soon into their romance has only made them stronger." While we stand by for more info about this duo, here's everything you should know about Spider-Man's new girlfriend.

During an interview with model Grace McGovern on her podcast, What They Don't Tell You About, in November 2019, Nadia said that before pursuing a professional acting career, she studied at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in England, though she ended up leaving early to take on a role on The Spanish Princess.

While attending LAMD, Nadia performed in nearly 20 theatre productions, including Cabaret, The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, and Much Ado About Nothing.

Even after landing her breakout role on The Spanish Princess, Nadia struggled to find work, and she ended up taking on a very different role instead. "I was in drama school when I got the job [on The Spanish Princess]," she told Grace during her What They Don't Tell You About appearance. "I left early to do it. Everyone was like, 'Oh my gosh, this is incredible.' . . . Ten months later, I hadn't worked, and I'd started working at a special-needs school to help out with some kids there."

In addition to her role as Rosa de Vargas on The Spanish Princess, Nadia appeared on an episode of Doctor Who as Claire Clairmont. She revealed to Grace during her What They Don't Tell You About appearance that, growing up, she frequently watched Doctor Who. "Honestly, it was like — I was obsessed with it when I was 12 years old," Nadia said in reference to the show. "It was literally a young me's dream."

Nadia is close friends with Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, and she even attended Sophie's bachelorette party in June 2019 ahead of Sophie's wedding to Joe Jonas. According to The Daily Mail, it is believed that Sophie was the one to introduce Nadia and Tom Holland.

According to IMDb, Nadia's next role is on Domina, a 10-part drama following the life and the extraordinary rise of Livia Drusilla, the mother of the emperor Tiberius. Nadia is playing Young Livia in the series and is set to appear in eight episodes. In a November 2019 Instagram post, Nadia said of the role, "Amazing story of an amazing woman, being told by some pretty amazing people. Can I say amazing anymore? I'm very excited for this one."
