Garfield — who was nominated for the best actor in a leading role for "Tick, Tick... Boom!" [5] — made a surprise appearance [6] in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" [7] alongside Zendaya [8] and her boyfriend Tom Holland [9], so their reunion was a sweet treat for Marvel [10] fans.

Garfield talked about his epic comeback in an interview with Deadline [11] in January, where he revealed that he had one condition for joining the franchise again. "Well, I was just waiting to see if Tobey [Maguire] was going to do it, and if Tobey was going to do it, then I was like, 'Well, I have no choice,' you know? I follow Tobey to the ends of the Earth.
