When it comes to watching scary movies on Netflix, we'd like to think we're old pros. We've endured the nightmarish journey through the woods in The Ritual [1], managed not to puke during that hand scene in Gerald's Game [2], and stuck it out through every jump scare in Hush [3]. But according to Netflix, none of those even come close to being the scariest film offered on the streaming network.

In a list published by Forbes [4], Netflix revealed the 10 horror films that are so terrifying, their subscribers can't actually watch them all the way through. Apparently the typical Netflix user can make it at least 70 percent of the way through the following films before deciding they'd rather spare their sanity and watch yet another rerun of Friends. Here they are, in no particular order:

To be fair, the reason that a lot of these are prematurely turned off — especially Raw, The Human Centipede 2, and Cabin Fever — likely has something to do with the amount of sheer gore and body horror being splattered all over the screen. That's "scary" in a totally different way than, say, The Conjuring, which is a mostly bloodless, haunted house chiller (and excellent, if you still haven't seen).

Regardless, whether they're making people sick to their stomachs or filling them with enough nightmare fuel to last a century, those movies are apparently the ones every diehard horror movie fan [6] needs to add to their queue. Hopefully you've got some time (and some popcorn) on your hands.
