The Fate of the Solar System Is in Brad Pitt's Hands in the Trailer For Ad Astra
The first trailer for Brad Pitt's sci-fi drama Ad Astra is here, and it's time to take a dramatic journey into space. In the atmospheric trailer, astronaut Roy McBride (Pitt) is injured in a strange event on earth known as "the surge" and as he recovers, he soon finds himself being dragged back into the centre of the action, thanks to the connection that his father holds to a looming cosmic disaster. He sets off on a journey for answers, and it doesn't look like it's going to be an easy ride. Liv Tyler, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, and Donald Sutherland costar (though Negga is conspicuous by her absence in the trailer). Get your first peek at the epic production ahead, the movie is set to hit cinemas on Sept. 18.
