If you've read To All the Boys I've Loved Before [1], the first novel in Jenny Han's bestselling trilogy, then you're probably already obsessed with it. If you haven't, don't worry — you have plenty of time to fall in love with the YA books before they hit the big screen (the first one hits Netflix in August [2]!). The story follows Lara Jean Song Covey, a teenager whose secret love letters to her former crushes accidentally get sent out. To avoid admitting her past feelings, she fakes a relationship with one of them, but she quickly realises she may not be pretending after all.

Details about the movie, including the cast, have been slowly coming out over the past few months, and Han has even been sharing adorable set photos on social media [3]. She also expressed her excitement over the fact that her diverse characters, which aren't typically seen as leads in the predominantly white romantic comedy genre, get three movies [4] with its sequels, P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever, Lara Jean. "The most important thing for me as the author is seeing an Asian American girl in the starring role, and with this movie, we get to see not one but THREE!" she wrote. Newcomer Condor, who played Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse, will take on the starring role of Lara Jean Song Covey.

Noah Centineo

Centineo, whose most notable role is on Freeform's The Fosters, will star as popular high school athlete Peter Kavinsky, who receives one of Lara Jean's letters and agrees to be in a fake relationship with her.

John Corbett

The established actor, who is known for a variety of roles in TV shows like Sex and the City [6] and movies like My Big Fat Greek Wedding, will play Mr. Covey, the father of Margot, Lara Jean, and Kitty.

Israel Broussard

Broussard will play Josh Sanderson, the Coveys' next-door neighbour and Margot's boyfriend. He's previously had roles in movies like The Bling Ring, as well as TV shows like Sons of Anarchy [7] and Fear the Walking Dead [8].

Trezzo Mahoro

The Van Helsing actor will play Lucas James, one of Lara Jean's best friends.

Madeleine Arthur

Arthur will play Christine, or "Chris," Lara Jean's best friend.

Andrew Bachelor

The actor, who previously guest starred on The Mindy Project, will play Greg, Peter's life-of-the-party friend.
