Ariana Grande [3] may be singing "Thank U, Next" to her exes [4], but her First Wives Club posse is staying strong. On Tuesday, the 25-year-old singer teased a clip of her Nov. 7 performance [5] on The Ellen DeGeneres Show [6], and it looks like she got more than a little inspiration from the 1996 film.
The singer and her friends, Victoria Monét and Tayla Parx, used all-white suits and coordinated dance moves to pay homage to the movie's iconic "You Don't Own Me" scene [7]. It's also hard to ignore the stage's decorations, which mimic a wedding reception. In a photo Grande shared, she tagged herself and each woman as a First Wives Club actress. Who's Grande, you may wonder? The incomparable Goldie Hawn [8], of course. Seems more than appropriate that Grande's self-love anthem [9] finds the perfect partner in a badass flick about girl power. Watch a clip of her Ellen performance above.
