Our Top Choices for the Next Bachelor — and They've Never Dated Becca!

22/08/2018 - 05:20 PM

Remember when we all knew that Peter Kraus was going to be the next leading man on The Bachelor [1]? And then he wasn't? And we got blast from the past, Arie Luyendyk, Jr.? After that twist from ABC, we're not doubting that it could happen again with the upcoming season. Although the next Bachelor will likely be one of the men from Becca Kufrin's season [2], it's possible that we'll be reunited with a contestant from years ago. If that were to happen, we just want to make our suggestions known so we get a funny and good-looking guy to watch in the Winter. To be honest, some of our favourites are left off because they're in relationships (looking at you, Ben Zorn [3]), but there are still good ones to choose from.

Peter Kraus

It's been way too long since we've seen easy-on-the-eyes Peter. He dated Rachel Lindsay on season 13 of The Bachelorette [4] and won over Bachelor Nation with his honesty about not being able to propose because he needed some more time. It seemed liked a no-brainer that he would become the next bachelor, but that didn't pan out [5]. Our hearts are still open if yours is, Peter!

Luke Pell

Luke was a fan favourite on season 12 of The Bachelorette [6] as he fought for JoJo Fletcher's heart. It seemed like he was a shoo-in after his romantic hometown date complete with a sunset horse ride, candles, and rose petals. But alas, she sent the war-veteran-turned-songwriter home, and women everywhere were getting ready to send in their Bachelor applications. The universe worked against us and Luke did not become our next leading man. Then, he competed on The Bachelor Winter Games [7], where he hit it off with Stassi Yaramchuk from Sweden [8]. Maybe it's time he complete the trifecta and become the Bachelor [9]?

Ben Higgins

We first met Ben on season 11 of The Bachelorette [10] when he was dating Kaitlyn Bristowe. He was sent home and became the Bachelor [11], where he found love with Lauren Bushnell. However, the two broke up [12] quite some time ago, and we want Ben back on our TV screens! If you listen to his podcast with Bachelor alumna Ashley Iaconetti, The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast [13], you know that no one is sweeter than him. We just want him to find that forever kind of love!

Vinny Ventiera

It wasn't meant to be for Vinny and JoJo Fletcher during season 12 of The Bachelorette [14], so he gave season three of Bachelor in Paradise a go! After a messy breakup with Izzy Goodkind, we're sure we weren't the only ones hoping that the DJ would eventually find the love he was after. We think that he would make the most fun bachelor yet! Especially if he brings along Paris Hilton [15] and DJ Pauly D [16] . . .

Iggy Rodriguez

Iggy is handsome . . . like, really handsome and has a contagious positive personality. There wasn't a lasting connection between him and Rachel Lindsay on The Bachelorette [17], and his time was short on Bachelor in Paradise season four, but we haven't lost hope for the Santa Monica-based chief revenue officer and investor just yet. We'd love to watch him as the bachelor [18]!
