Say Hello to the Blast-From-the-Past Cast on Bachelor in Paradise Season 6

18/06/2019 - 09:40 PM

Some of the contestants who didn't find their forever on The Bachelor [1] and The Bachelorette [2] are getting a second chance. A group of singles are headed to an incredible Mexican resort [3] for season six of Bachelor in Paradise [4]. It's sure to be filled with drama, tears, and fights, but we're hoping the romance and love overshadows all of that.

The cast is made up of people who have made an impact on Bachelor Nation in one way or another — so they might be the troublemakers of their season. But hey, anything to keep it interesting, right? Remember that this is just the starting cast, and you never know who could be lurking on the beach ready to make their move on someone who is already coupled up. That means this is just the (very good-looking) beginning.

Annaliese Puccini — The Bachelor Season 23 and Bachelor in Paradise Season 5

Annaliese made her first big impression during a group date with Arie Luyendyk Jr. As a race car driver, he took some ladies to play an adult version of bumper cars [6]. Little did he know that Annaliese had suffered a bumper car trauma as a kid [7], and she broke down in tears. After a failed connection with Arie, she moved on to Bachelor in Paradise, where she met Kamil Nicalek. To viewers, it seemed pretty obvious that the relationship was one-sided, but Annaliese felt stronger for Kamil and even visited his mom following filming. The breakup happened on live TV [8] and it was tough to watch. Here's her second chance to leave Mexico with a happy ending!

Bibiana Julian — The Bachelor Season 22, Bachelor Winter Games, and Bachelor in Paradise Season 5

How could you forget this face? Bibiana is taking her second shot on Bachelor in Paradise, and we're keeping our fingers crossed for her. We first met the former Miami Dolphins cheerleader [9] on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor [10]. Things didn't work out, and she moved on to The Bachelor Winter Games [11], where she dated Jordan Mauger for a while. After that, Paradise didn't bring an everlasting love, but who says it can't work the second time around?

Blake Horstmann — The Bachelorette Season 14

To say that Bachelor Nation was (still is?) upset that Becca Kufrin said goodbye to Blake [12] during the finale is an understatement. It took him some time to find the humour [13] in a heartbreaking situation, but he's ready to date again!

Caelynn Miller-Keyes — The Bachelor Season 23

Miss North Carolina 2018 [14] (and runner-up to Miss USA that year) had an apparent connection with Colton Underwood from the start. She had her challenges along the way, mainly stemming from her feud with fellow contestant Hannah Brown [15], but Caelynn made it to the final four. After she was sent home, we could have sworn the fan favourite would become the next bachelorette [16]. But the choice went a different way, and now this brave woman [17] has another shot at love.

Cam Ayala — The Bachelorette Season 15

He might have received Hannah Brown's first rose of the season [18], but she couldn't deal with his ABC (Always Be Cam) slogan. The rapping software sales manager irritated many guys in the house with his interrupting tendencies [19], so let's see if Cam learned his lesson. After all, he won't want to scare away potential dates in paradise.

Chris Bukowski — The Bachelorette Season 8, Bachelor Pad Season 3, and Bachelor in Paradise Season 1

It's time to go way back in your memory, because a contestant from Emily Maynard [20]'s season, which aired in 2012, is coming to paradise. Things didn't work out on The Bachelorette [21], but Chris Bukowski continued his reality show love journey on Bachelor Pad. After that, he crashed Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette, and then went on the first season of Bachelor in Paradise [22]. Will he finally find his Mrs. this time?

Clay Harbor — The Bachelorette Season 14

We first met the former NFL tight end [23] on Becca Kufrin's season. He left the show early [24] due to a serious wrist injury that required immediate surgery. However, Clay wasn't single for long after that, because he announced he was dating Angela Amezcua [25], from Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor [26] and Bachelor in Paradise season five, in September 2018. The two didn't last and split in April 2019 [27]. Maybe he'll find long-lasting love with another alum in paradise!

Demi Burnett — The Bachelor Season 23

Demi made waves [28] with her go-for-it attitude as she fought for Colton Underwood's heart. You might remember the unique relationship with her mother, who was in prison when Demi called her alongside Colton. The two seemed to have a connection, and Demi told Colton she was falling in love with him. However, the feelings weren't reciprocated and she was sent home [29] during the sixth episode. She did her part in weeding out a bad apple on Hannah Brown's season [30], so let's hope she keeps that no-BS attitude.

Derek Peth — The Bachelorette Season 12 and Bachelor in Paradise Season 4

While things didn't work out with JoJo Fletcher, Derek found love with fellow Paradiser Taylor Nolan, who brought the term "emotional intelligence" to the forefront. The two got engaged during the aftershow [31] and were together for about a year afterwards. Sadly, the two didn't last and went their separate ways in 2018. If it worked once, it can work again, right?

Hannah Godwin — The Bachelor 23

Hannah was a frontrunner early in Colton Underwood's season. The fashion-focussed Southerner [32] made it to the final three, where she expected a proposal but was left with heartbreak [33]. It took some time, but she found the humour in it via rap [34], and after taking some time to process the whole situation [35], she's ready to put her heart out there.

Jane Averbukh — The Bachelor Season 23

Jane, whose given first name is Adrianne, didn't have much time to spend with Colton Underwood. She was eliminated during the season's premiere, but hopefully we'll have more time to get to know about this social worker from West Hollywood in paradise.

John Paul Jones — The Bachelorette Season 15

The man known by three names made quite an impression on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette [36]. John Paul Jones [37]'s quirky personality made him a fan favourite, even though he didn't get the most screen time. Luckily, we'll have another opportunity to follow his love journey!

Katie Morton — The Bachelor Season 23

Katie made it a substantial way in Colton Underwood's season, but you most recently saw her in Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette [38]. She joined forces with Demi Burnett to make sure that their friend was dating men who were truly there for her. So when they discovered that one contestant was basically still in a relationship [39] during the premiere, they let their girl know ASAP. Let's hope she earned some good karma for herself in Mexico.

Kevin Fortenberry — The Bachelorette Season 15

Fresh off of Hannah Brown's season, Kevin will be repacking his bags for paradise. There wasn't nearly enough screen time including him on The Bachelorette [40], so we expect producers to make it up to us this time around.

Nicole Lopez-Alvar — The Bachelor Season 23

Nicole's hope of connecting with Colton Underwood was rerouted when she was accused of using the show for an insincere reason [41]. According to Onyeka Ehie, Nicole told fellow contestant Elyse that the show gave her an "opportunity" to leave Miami. Demi Burnett encouraged Onyeka to tell Colton, and it just got messier from there. Nicole felt bullied and it turned into a she said-she said situation. Although it wasn't the best way to leave the show, she'll have the chance to rewrite her story.

Onyeka Ehie — The Bachelor Season 23

Oh, did we mention Onyeka will also be on Bachelor in Paradise? We're not sure where she and Nicole stand after their feud on Colton Underwood's season [42], but we wouldn't doubt that there's some sort of tension there. We'll be watching it all go down, of course, but with any luck, the two women will move past the situation and concentrate on finding love.

Sydney Lotuaco — The Bachelor Season 23

Sydney holds the title of being one of the women who has dumped Colton Underwood. Yes, there's a list [43]. The NBA dancer decided to leave the show because she didn't think he was truly interested in her. Before exiting, she gave Colton advice, because it was apparent he was favouring certain women who might not be the best for him. Any guy who isn't interested in you isn't worth your time, so cheers to Sydney remembering that in paradise.

Tayshia Adams — The Bachelor Season 23

It wasn't happily ever after with Tayshia [44] and Colton Underwood, although she fell in love with him and made it to the final three. We can see that she wants a forever type of love, and she certainly deserves that after going through a divorce when her ex cheated on her. Tayshia values marriage highly [45], so we hope her future husband is waiting for her on the beach.

Wills Reid — The Bachelorette Season 14 and Bachelor in Paradise Season 5

Let it be known that we wanted Wills to be the next Bachelor [46] after Becca Kufrin sent him home. Our wish didn't come true, but we got to see this fashion-forward, pattern-loving guy put his heart out there again in paradise. He was looking for his person, but was shockingly sent home the first week after not making a connection. We're rooting for him now more than ever to find the love of his life in Mexico!
