Hannah Brown is officially the new Bachelorette [1] and the announcement was a little more exciting than she expected! Her role as The Bachelor [2] spinoff's leading lady was announced during Colton Underwood's "After the Final Rose" special, where we saw the former NFL player showed Bachelor Nation that he was happily committed to Cassie Randolph [3]. Host Chris Harrison revealed that Hannah will be taking over the position previously held by Becca Kufrin (who's still engaged to her final suitor, Garrett Yrigoyen [4]) and will star in the show's next season, due later this year.

But it wasn't enough to just make an announcement — Chris told Hannah that she would actually be meeting her first five contestants that very night! The stage was quickly transformed into a rose ceremony setting fit for the Bachelor [5] mansion and Hannah was quickly introduced to five of her 30 male suitors. In a surprise twist, Hannah even handed out her first rose, which Chris was quick to point out has never happened before. We can't say if Hannah has already fallen in love, but we can say that she's definitely in for a wild ride. Check out the five suitors ahead!

• Luke said that Hannah was the only one he wanted to be the Bachelorette [6]. So we already know he's pretty smooth.
• Dustin came in with two flutes of champagne (he knows what a lady really wants) and gave an adorably nervous toast to "a wonderful beginning, an amazing journey, and hopefully us choosing each other every single day." He definitely got Hannah's seal of approval.
• Cam from Austin, TX surprised us all with a very enthusiastic rap. It actually earned him the first rose of Hannah's upcoming season!
• Connor made Hannah an adorably bedazzled step-stool as a first step to them always "seeing eye to eye."
• Luke S. came through hot and heavy, letting Hannah know that although he doesn't go to the South often, he was ready to go down South any time . . .
