NASHVILLE, TN - JUNE 06: (L-R) Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson of Backstreet Boys perform onstage at the 2018 CMT Music Awards at Bridgestone Arena on June 6, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. (Photo by Mike Coppola/Getty Images for CMT)

Do I know why the Backstreet Boys decided to perform their new, very poppy hit, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" [1] at the CMT awards [2], of all places? And actually, do I even care why? The answer to both of those questions is NO, because I'm still hypnotized by the gloriously '90s choreography [3] the boy band (man band?) pulled off on Wednesday night. The group, who picked up an award for their collaboration with Florida Georgia Line [4] earlier in the evening, will instantly transport you back to your teenage days watching TRL after school with their moves, so check out a glimpse of them below.

Wow! @WonderboyMMA [5] did not know you were the lead singer for the @backstreetboys [6] #CMTawards [7] @ufc [8] pic.twitter.com/YlLbfhmvFw [9]
