This might be the most "normal" season of The Bachelor we'll ever see. Ben Higgins is the epitome of a good guy, and Bachelor Nation quickly fell for the software salesman from Denver. There were plenty of tears, from both Ben and the contestants, throughout the season, showing just how serious the process was to him. One standout part of the season was when Kevin Hart and Ice Cube crashed Ben's steamy date in a hot tub. And Ben is just an overall likable guy, which can't be said about every season we've ever watched . . .
Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher were the final two, and Ben got down on one knee to Lauren. Ta-da! They were on their way to forever. This is also the season where we met some of the most well-known contestants, like Becca Tilley, Amanda Stanton, and the twins, Emily and Haley Ferguson.
The two even had a spinoff show, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After, and cohosted Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding, but their relationship couldn't be saved. They ultimately broke up in 2017, and the pressure from being in the public eye played a role in that.
Ben made a brief appearance The Bachelor Winter Games earlier this year but realised he wasn't ready to date. However, he has since revealed that he's started dating again. We're not the only ones hoping Ben comes back for round two to find love, and if he does, we'll be ready to watch (with wine in hand, of course).
