The moment fans of The Walking Dead [1] have been dreading for months finally arrived, and nobody's tear ducts were safe. In season eight's ninth episode, "Honor," that zombie bite Carl has been hiding [2] finally takes its toll, killing off one of the only remaining characters from the AMC drama's original run. We watch Carl get to have a peaceful last day in Alexandria, writing letters to his closest friends and family members, spending quality time with Judith, and even planting a tree. His final moments are, of course, spent with Rick and Michonne.
