You may remember Brandon Victor Dixon as the actor who addressed Mike Pence [1] during a performance of Hamilton back in 2016, but now we have another reason to bow down to him thanks to his brilliant portrayal of Judas [2] during NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live! [3]. The musical, which aired Sunday night, had just about everyone taking to Twitter to share some hilarious and not-so religious opinions [4] about Jesus Christ and the muscular characters [5], but Dixon stood out as a shining star, and it's not just because of his fashion choices.
