Cardi B took the stage at London's Wireless Festival on Friday for a high-energy performance [1], and tore the (metaphorical) roof off the place. But that wasn't the only thing she was tearing off. During her set, the rapper apparently got so into the music, she snatched her own wig. In a clip of the staging, Cardi is seen rolling on the ground while performing her song "Press." [2] She then gets into a squat before grabbing her long, straight hairpiece and tossing it into the crowd.
Cardi later joked about the moment [3], tweeting, "I GOT CARRIED AWAY .......I want my wig back:/ Dm me." It's unknown whether someone has attempted to return the wig, but many fans believe it's long gone. "Sis on her way to EBAY with Cardi's wig expeditiously," one Twitter user wrote. Another person suggested whoever caught the hair is probably rocking a new look. "You made somebody very happy," they added. "I bet they was wearing it today."
