After announcing on Instagram that the rest of 2018 would be filled with songs and videos from pop icon Charli XCX, the singer (and Taylor Swift's tour mate) released her first solo single of the year today, titled "5 in the Morning" — and it just might be our new wake-up jam. Following her 2017 album Pop 2 — which features artists like Carly Rae Jepsen, Tove Lo, and Kim Petras — Charli is back to spam us with her music (and we're not complaining). "5 in the Morning" has the electric sound we love and the vibe to make any work commute feel like a runway. Not only that, but the song teases 2018 will be the year of Charli XCX.
