In 2017, rumours that Lupita Nyong'o and Kristen Stewart [1] were being considered for two of the leading roles [2] began swirling, and now we have some concrete confirmation that they're on board. The Director

Elizabeth Banks is not only directing and producing the film, but she is reportedly taking on the role of Bosley. This will be the second film she's directed after helming Pitch Perfect 2 back in 2015.

The Cast

Power Rangers star Naomi Scott and Kristen Stewart [3] have both been confirmed to star in one of the three leading roles. Lupita Nyong'o is reportedly still in negotiations [4] to star in the film.

The Release Date

The film is set to hit theatres on June 7, 2019.
