Yes, there will be some familiar faces from Sons of Anarchy on the new spinoff series [1], Mayans MC [2], but unfortunately, Charlie Hunnam [3]'s (beautiful) face won't be one of them. The actor spoke with Entertainment Tonight [4] at the premiere of his new movie, Papillon, and he explained why he doesn't plan to channel Jax Teller again.

"I had the deepest experience of my career coming out of that," he said. "I had become that character, had become so deeply integrated into who I was, I literally didn't realise until the day we wrapped and we put him to rest and I felt I went through a period of two or three weeks of, like, real bereavement."

Sons of Anarchy [5] was such a special chapter of Hunnam's life that he wants to respect that time — and that leather vest. "I have his cut and, you know, people have been to my house and asked if they could try it on and I [say] 'No one will ever put that cut on again' and 'We've got to respect that dude. He's not with us anymore.' So I would never bring him back from the dead for something like that," Hunnam said. "It was seven years of my life. He sort of became sacred to me."

Although we'll certainly miss seeing Jax Teller on the small screen, there are still plenty of reasons to get excited about Mayans MC. Have you seen the trailer [6]?! Or the handsome actor [7] in the leading role?! Yep, we'll definitely be tuning in when the show premieres on Sept. 4.
