Charmed Is Getting Rebooted, but Where Is the Original Cast Now?

05/06/2018 - 11:05 PM

It's hard to believe it has been almost 20 years since Charmed [1] premiered. During its eight-season run, the series acquired a dedicated fanbase, which has only continued to grow [2] since the series wrapped in 2006. Now that the show is getting rebooted [3] on The CW, we can't help but wonder what the original cast is up to now. While all four witch sisters have continued acting, two of them are now parents! See where the Halliwell sisters and the rest of their supernatural friends are now.

Holly Marie Combs as Piper Halliwell

Piper is the oldest Charmed One following the death of her sister Prue. Her powers allow her to freeze objects, as well as make them blow up. She has a longtime relationship with Whitelighter Leo Wyatt, whom she eventually marries.

Holly Marie Combs Now

Since wrapping Charmed, the actress has had a few TV roles, most notably as Ella Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars [5]. In 2015, she teamed up with her former costar, Shannen Doherty, for the travel show Off the Map With Shannen & Holly. She is also a mom to three sons, Finley, Riley, and Kelley, with her ex-husband David Donoho. In September 2017, she got engaged [6] to her boyfriend Mike.

Alyssa Milano as Phoebe Halliwell

Phoebe is the middle Halliwell sister following the death of her sister Prue. Her powers give her premonitions. She has a longtime relationship with a half-demon and half-human named Cole, but they eventually split when he becomes the Source. She eventually marries Coop, who is Cupid.

Alyssa Milano Now

Milano has kept incredibly busy, starring in movies and TV shows including ABC's Mistresses and Netflix's Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later. In 2009, Alyssa tied the knot with Creative Artists Agency agent David Bugliari. Together, they have a 3-year-old daughter named Elizabella and 6-year-old son, who she named after Milo Ventimiglia [7].

Shannen Doherty as Prue Halliwell

Prue was the eldest Halliwell sister before her death. Her powers allowed her to move objects with her mind, but she eventually learned to project herself in an astral form.

Shannen Doherty Now

Since leaving the show during season three, Doherty has continued acting. In 2008, she reprised her Beverly Hills, 90210 role, Brenda Walsh, on its CW spinoff, 90210. She recently battled breast cancer [8], but confirmed in April 2017 that she is in remission [9].

Rose McGowan as Paige Matthews

Paige is the half-sister of the Halliwell sisters. She is both witch and Whitelighter, and has telekinetic powers, as well as general powers that come along with being a Whitelighter. She eventually marries Henry Mitchell.

Rose McGowan Now

After the show, McGowan starred in various films and shows like The Black Dahlia and Once Upon a Time as young Cora Mills, but she has recently dedicated her time to fight sexual harassment in Hollywood. Last year, she was one of the many women who accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual abuse, and has since been an activist for the #MeToo movement, which is documented in her television series, Citizen Rose.

Kaley Cuoco as Billie Jenkins

Billie is a witch who makes up one half of the Ultimate Power, which are two sisters who were manipulated by the Triad to kill the Charmed Ones.

Kaley Cuoco Now

Shortly after Charmed ended in 2006, Cuoco found success on another popular show. She currently plays Penny on The Big Bang Theory. As for her personal life, she was married to Ryan Sweeting for three years before divorcing in 2016. She has since found new love with her fiancé Karl Cook [10].

Brian Krause as Leo Wyatt

Leo originally starts as the Charmed Ones' Whitelighter, but falls for Piper in the process. They eventually get married later on in the series.

Brian Krause Now

After saying goodbye to Leo Wyatt, the actor has made a few guest appearances on shows like Mad Men [11] and Castle. He recently starred on the show First List, and has handful of movies lined up for later this year.

Julian McMahon as Cole Turner

Cole is a half-demon, half-human who falls for Phoebe. They have an intense relationship, but eventually break up when he becomes the Source.

Julian McMahon Now

After leaving Charmed in season five, the Australian actor went on to play Dr. Christian Troy on the popular medical drama Nip/Tuck. He currently stars on Marvel's Runaways.

Dorian Gregory as Darryl Morris

Darryl is an inspector for the San Francisco Police Department and a friend of the Halliwell sisters. He often helps them get off of tricky situations with the law and, in return, the sisters help him with supernatural cases.

Dorian Gregory Now

Since Charmed, Gregory has appeared in a handful of films and series, including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC.
