25/05/2018 - 10:10 PM

If you're not a diehard Star Wars [1] fan and you've seen every single film in the franchise, you deserve a pat on the back. There are a ton of them, and devoting all that time to Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo [2], Rey, Finn, Kylo, Darth Vader, and the rest of the iconic characters that have popped up over the years is no small task. Now that Solo: A Star Wars Story [3] is upon us, you might be wondering where, exactly, it fits in. Fortunately we've ordered all of the main films that have come out thus far — excluding animated series and Christmas specials — in chronological order for you, just in case you need a guide.

Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace (1999)

Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones (2002)

Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope (1977)

Star Wars: Episode V — The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Star Wars: Episode VI — Return of the Jedi (1983)

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)
