Two days after DJ Khaled released his music video for "Higher" [1] — featuring the late rapper Nipsey Hussle [2] — he performed a special tribute [3] to his departed friend [4] on Saturday Night Live [5]. He was joined by SZA who beautifully sang "Just Us" before Meek Mill came on to rap "Weather the Storm." John Legend [6] then appeared while playing the piano and passionately singing "Higher." At the end, he stood alongside DJ Khaled, SZA, and Meek Mill, as well as Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Jeremih, J Balvin and Lil Baby — who performed with DJ Khaled during his first set.
