Millions of women have publicly wondered what it would take to win the hearts of these highly sought-after babes, and I got inside their heads with some exclusive interviews [3]. I asked 12 of your favorite Bachelor Nation men to reveal the qualities a woman must possess to win them over, and you're not going to want to miss their answers!
Robby Hayes
- How you know him: Robby Hayes [4] made it all the way to the finale on Jojo's season of The Bachelorette [5], and later appeared on Bachelor in Paradise.
- Why he's a catch: Hayes has a master's degree in finance, is currently beginning his real estate career in California, and is the cofounder of LeisureLetics [6], an athleisure apparel company. Not only is he ridiculously good looking, Hayes is always a class-act and a complete gentleman.
- What he looks for in a woman: Hayes says that there are three very noticeable qualities that can steal his heart right from the start: "One is confidence, not only in our relationship, but in her career ambitions, and in her (and my) social endeavors, and in all of her day-to-day activities. A confident woman is an attractive woman. The second quality is class. The woman I want to end up with is one of elegance and class, from using appropriate manners in each situation, and knowing exactly how to dress appropriately for any occasion. Lastly, family is everything to me. A woman who puts her family above all will be the woman above all for me."
Luke Pell
- How you know him: Luke Pell [7] made it to the final four on Jojo's season of The Bachelorette [8], and he's also been cast in the Bachelor Winter Games [9], premiering Feb. 13.
- Why he's a catch: Pell is a talented singer/songwriter [10], a former US Army Captain, and also happens to be physically perfect.
- What he looks for in a woman: "I appreciate someone who is comfortable in their own skin and can make fun of themselves, laugh at themselves, and be a free spirit. It's rare to find someone who is completely transparent with who they are, and someone who doesn't put up a facade, because it gets old trying to keep up with constant concerns of how the world sees you."
Wells Adams
- How you know him: He was on Jojo's season of The Bachelorette [11], but he's best known for his role as the hilarious bartender on Bachelor in Paradise.
- Why he's a catch: Adams [12] is an ambitious radio DJ for iHeartRadio, and he co-hosts the Your Favorite Thing Podcast [13] with Brandi Cyrus. Plus, Adams' current girlfriend is Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland [14], so he clearly has achieved success in the dating world.
- What he looks for in a woman: "I'm attracted to really creative women. Artists, musicians, or people who work in creative fields. I'm super attracted to strong, independent women who are successful. I need a woman who has a sense of humor but can also put me in my place." Does Hyland fit the bill? Adams says she definitely does. "I just described my current girlfriend to a T. Freakin' knocked that one out of the park!"
Chase McNary
- How you know him: Chase McNary [15] made it all the way to the final three on Jojo's season of The Bachelorette [16]. He was let go right before fantasy suites, and when an unmarked white van pulled up to take him home, he got in and remarked "Oh, is this my fantasy suite?" Yup, he's good looking and funny.
- Why he's a catch: Not only is he very handsome, McNary is also impressively career-oriented in the health and fitness industry. He is the owner of a life-changing organization, Left Side Lion Fitness [17], and a cofounder of LeisureLetics alongside Robby Hayes.
- What he looks for in a woman: "When considering a standout quality that women must possess to win me over, maturity is at the top of my list," McNary explains. "I find myself most attracted to women who operate at a more mature level in all aspects of their lives, including relationships, work, and family. A big aspect of maturity is communication, and poor communication skills can be a deal breaker for me."
James Taylor
- How you know him: James Taylor [18] (who is also known as James McCoy) was the genuine, kind, southern gentleman who ended up in the final five on Jojo's season of The Bachelorette [19] .
- Why he's a catch: Taylor is a successful singer/songwriter [20], and he's just as sweet and handsome in the real world as he was onscreen.
- What he looks for in a woman: "She has to be sweet", says Taylor, who is currently dating a "sweet and gorgeous" woman. "That super-confident woman is just like the funny girl, who is just like the hot blonde — but being sweet embodies a lifestyle. I want a woman who embodies a lifestyle of true selflessness, a caring nature, and a desire to make their partner happy. I dream about waking up and going to bed next to the most loved woman in the world because of the way I’m loving her . . . and if someone else is willing to make the same sacrifices so they can make me feel that way, too, then hook me up."
Bryan Abasolo
- How you know him: Abasolo [21] was the last man standing and won Rachel Lindsay's heart on the most recent season of The Bachelorette [22].
- Why he's a catch: Dr. Bryan Abasolo [23] is a licensed chiropractor and successful wellness coach who has landed appearances on talk shows such as The Doctors.
- What he looks for in a woman: Abasolo is engaged to Lindsay and therefore off the market, but he still shared his views on what qualities are important to him, all of which she possesses. "I love a confident woman who knows what she wants and goes after it like a boss," says Abasolo. "A sense of humor and a charming personality are must haves as well. Most importantly is being with someone who I can be my 100 percent true self around and not have them run away because, let’s be honest — I’m a pain in the butt!"
Eric Bigger
- How you know him: He made it all the way to the final three on Rachel's season of The Bachelorette [24], and will soon appear on Bachelor Winter Games.
- Why he's a catch: Bigger [25] is a certified fitness trainer and a talented public speaker. He also has a smile that will melt your heart.
- What he looks for in a woman: When it comes for the qualities he finds most attractive in women, Bigger says, "I appreciate someone of substance, who I can have an open conversation about anything with. I also appreciate integrity and compassion."
Ben Zorn
- How you know him: Ben Zorn [26] made it to the final five on Kaitlyn's season of The Bachelorette [27], and also appeared on season four of Bachelor in Paradise, ultimately leaving the show because he missed his dog Zeus [28]!
- Why he's a catch: He is a certified personal trainer, a dedicated wellness coach, and the founder of Zorn Fitness [29], which offers in-person and online education to help people incorporate fitness and healthy eating habits into their current lives.
- What he looks for in a woman: "When it comes to qualities I look for in a woman, there are two that really stand out," says Zorn. "First, they need to take care of themselves and be active. As a personal trainer, I need a partner I can share activities and experiences with. The second quality I love in a woman is one who is thoughtful and caring. Someone that goes out of their way to do something nice for someone else, or takes time to pick out a thoughtful gift that they really think that person will love. I feel like this is a quality that someone either has or doesn't have. It's pretty easy to tell when someone is genuine or just faking it to make themselves feel good."
Kupah James
- How you know him: Kupah James [30] is known for being one of the most physically perfect specimens on Kaitlyn's season of The Bachelorette [31].
- Why he's a catch: James [32] is an incredibly successful fitness instructor, personal trainer, and touring DJ who has performed for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and even former president Bill Clinton.
- What he looks for in a woman: "A sense of humor is huge for me, and I'm also attracted to a woman with a strong sense of security," says James. "A sense of security within a woman can say a lot for what kind of partner she could be for a man. I also need to personally believe that she is 'True North.' How I define 'True North' is an unmistakable purity to the way she moves."
Daniel Maguire
- How you know him: Daniel Maguire [33] appeared on Jojo's season of The Bachelorette [34], but he's best known for being hands-down the funniest cast member on Bachelor in Paradise.
- Why he's a catch: Maguire [35] is a certified personal trainer, male model, research consultant, and a popular TV personality. Women admire him for his sense of humor, his looks, and his career ambition.
- What he looks for in a woman: "I'm attracted to a woman with confidence," says Maguire. "Confidence is huge for me, as there's nothing worse than having to reassure a woman who has layers of insecurities and trust issues. Confident women tend to be less clingy and tend to have better communication skills. I also appreciate someone who is laid back, likes to have fun, and doesn't take things too seriously.
Chris Strandburg
- How you know him: Dr. Chris Strandburg [36], also known as "Cupcake," was a fan favorite on season 11 of The Bachelorette [37]. Yup, he introduced himself to Kaitlyn Bristowe in a cupcake costume.
- Why he's a catch: Strandburg [38] is a cosmetic dentist with a fun-loving, kindhearted personality. He has appeared on shows such as The Doctors and Good Morning America.
- What he looks for in a woman: "There are a few qualities a girl must have to be attractive to me," says Strandburg. "Kindness is very important, because when you’re looking to let someone that deeply into your life, they must want the best for you and others. A great sense of humor is also important because it makes the good times great, and the bad times not seem so bad. I also want someone who is seeking to grow and improve herself constantly over the course of her lifetime."
Diggy Moreland
- How you know him: Diggy Moreland [39] appeared on Rachel's season of The Bachelorette [40], and went on to appear on Bachelor in Paradise.
- Why he's a catch: Moreland is sexy, smart, and funny. He is a fashion stylist and owns a fashion and lifestyle blog called More Than a Tie [41].
- What he looks for in a woman: "Since I'm extremely goofy and I love making people laugh, a great smile is a necessary quality that a girl must have. Matter of fact, her smile is probably the first thing I notice (unless she has freckles, that's always first for me). In general, a great sense of humor is a must.
