Time travel always sounded pretty cool to me as a kid, but the newly-released trailer for Don't Let Go — the upcoming thriller starring David Oyelowo and Euphoria [1]'s Storm Reid — has me thinking otherwise. Oyelowo stars in the film as Jack, a man mourning the devastating loss of his teenage niece, Ashley (Reid). Jack is forced to put his grief on hold when he receives a mysterious call from Ashley days after she's presumably murdered, and once he realises that he's actually living two weeks ahead in the future, he sees it as the perfect opportunity to work with his niece to solve her murder and stop it before it happens. But their investigation could lead to even more fatal consequences that neither are prepared for.

Don't Let Go premiered at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and will hit cinemas on August 30. Watch the full trailer above.
