Throw It Back With the Best Early 2000s Movies on Netflix — Watch Them Tonight!

07/08/2019 - 05:50 PM

We know that 2019 has already brought us movie release that we'll be streaming for years to come. But today, we're throwing it way back to what we would consider to be some of the golden years for movies — the '00s. From romantic feel-good films (they just don't make them like they used to — you know we're right) to explosive-filled war movies, and side-splitting comedies; these are just a few of our favourite movies you can stream on Netflix right now.

Grab the popcorn and get ready for a wild night in, because these early 2000s Netflix movies are about to take you for a ride back in time.

Good Luck Chuck (2007)

Charlie Kagan (played by Dane Cook [1]) has always been painfully unlucky with love, and when he finds out that every single one of his exes found the love of their lives immediately after their breakup, he assumes his life couldn't get any worse. Soon after, though, it does, as his reputation starts to spread around town, and women flock to him for all the wrong reasons. That is, until Cam Wexler (played by Jessica Alba [2]) shows up.

Not Another Teen Movie (2001)

The ultimate spoof of '00s movies, Not Another Teen Movie is not only a wondrous throwback to a time before Chris Evans was Captain America, but also to a time when films like Cruel Intentions and Bring it On [4] were big hits, and only just started to stake their claim as classic teen movies.

Coach Carter (2005)

A bold claim (but we'll make it anyway): sports movies peaked in the '00s, and Coach Carter was easily one of the best. The movie centres around the controversy sparked when high school basketball coach (Coach Carter, played by Samuel L. Jackson [24]) benches the entire team for misbehaving. Channing Tatum [25] is also in this movie, so there's that.
