Guardians of the Galaxy actor Michael Rooker has joined the cast as a character named Buddy, according to Deadline. Nothing else is known about the role, but given the star's ability to shine in ensemble casts (like GOTG and The Walking Dead), we have no doubt Buddy will be memorable.

The 27-year-old Latin singer is the latest star to join the Fast and Furious franchise, though his character still remains a mystery. He is also reportedly in talks to be a part of the movie's soundtrack.

It has been confirmed that Cardi B is joining the cast of Fast & Furious 9 in a yet-to-be-announced role. Vin Diesel spilled the beans on his Instagram account in October, posting a video with Cardi B on the final day of filming in the UK.
