Which Game of Thrones Character Are You? Let's Consult the Zodiac!

12/04/2019 - 04:10 PM

Throughout the many seasons of Game of Thrones [1], we've seen a plethora of incredible characters. If you've been watching since the beginning, you've likely gotten to know the cast pretty well. You've read a million different theories about what will occur [2] in the final episodes as the series draws to close, you've read George R.R. Martin's book series — heck, you've even bought the Game of Thrones Oreos [3] in anticipation of the grand finale. However, as we near the end of the show, do you know which character most closely correlates with your zodiac sign?

We spoke to Kyle Thomas, resident astrologer at Love By Luna [4], to find out which character related to each of the 12 star signs. Take a look to find your match!

Aquarius (Jan.20–Feb. 18): Bran Stark

Often considered the "genius" of the zodiac, those born under the Aquarius sign may have the unique ability to see into the future (so to speak) and read the minds of those around them. "Bran's progress as a character has always been a mystical one throughout the series, as he possesses unique abilities to see far ahead into the future," Thomas told us. Plus, Bran is a little emotionally detached, which tends to be a trait for this sign.

Pisces (Feb.19–March 20): Melisandre

You might not be over 400 years old, but if you're a Pisces, you may be more like Melisandre than you think. "Throughout the series, she has revealed unique and supernatural powers, and as a woman of deep age, this, too, connects them to Pisces," he said. The final sign of the zodiac, Pisces typically display characteristics of wisdom and depth, which people naturally flock to.

Aries (March 21-April 19): Daenerys Targaryen

Aries can be super fiery and bold, so Daenerys is the perfect character to embody this driven sign. "Just as she is hungry for power and will lead an army to do so, so do Aries on the battlefield of life," he said. Plus, her go-getter attitude has led to great confidence; she never fears going after what she wants.

Taurus (April 20–May 20): Jaime Lannister

Loyal (to a fault) and loving, Jaime is an iconic Taurus. His stubbornness to be true to his word [5] and his intellect, charm, and strategy lead him to several victories. "Jaime has enduring power, which is Taurus's greatest gift," he said. Plus, Jaime is a classic Taurus romantic, which makes him even more desirable — as if his facial features weren't enough.

Gemini (May 2 –June 20): Arya Stark

Gemini are known for their dual personalities and ability to wear "many faces," a description that fits Arya perfectly. Adaptable and logical, Arya knows how to play the game well. As Thomas noted, she uses her mind, actions, and words flawlessly to her advantage.

Cancer (June 21–July 22): Jon Snow

A total family guy, Jon Snow embodies Cancers, who are natural nurturers at heart. "With a sensitive heart that he tries to mask in order to receive respect from those around him, Jon is one of the greatest heroes of the series," he said. Plus, he can be moody at times [6], which those who hang out with Cancers often might understand well.

Leo (July 23–Aug. 22): Brienne of Tarth

Leos love to show off their talents and come in as the hero, which is pretty in line with Brienne. "With a heart of gold, ferocious strength, and desire to defend those she loves, Brienne takes great pride in her path as a knight," Thomas said. Plus, she's all about honour and defending her character, which is what a Leo needs most to feel their best.

Virgo (Aug. 23–Sept. 22): Samwell Tarly

Always the perfectionist, Samwell is totally portrayed as a Virgo. "Virgos are known for their intellect [7], organisation, and strong ability to get things done, which Samwell has done throughout the epic fantasy series," he told us.

Libra (Sept 23.–Oct. 22): Sansa Stark

This lady knows how to rock the game of politics. "Her grace and elegance have never faltered, and her ability to outwit and outmaneuver others is a gift due to her inherent understanding of people and what they want," he said. She's all about balance and keeping the peace with others, which is Libra's greatest need.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Cersei Lannister

Scorpios like being in charge of literally everything, and they can be pretty intense, much like Cersei. "While she is not inherently evil, she has fought throughout her life to get respect despite constantly being pushed down," he said. And don't mess with her, because you probably won't win.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21): Tormund Giantsbane

Sagittarius is all about freedom; they don't like to be tied down or held back from their next adventure. Tormund charges on into new experiences without hesitation and is even open to changing his mind as he grows, he said. It's all about trying everything in the world at least once.

Capricorn (Dec. 22–Jan. 19): The Night King

Capricorns are ambitious and eager to rise above others [8], yet they can also be hard for them to let their guard down and can be a bit icy at times. Don't think of them as evil like the Night King, though. "They just value their vision and conquest as essential to their long-term growth," he said.
