Game of Thrones Moving Lego Castles Video

I'm Filling the Game of Thrones Void by Admiring This Fan's MOVING Lego Creations

There's no denying the passionate fan base behind Game of Thrones, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a viewer with the same dedication as Jonas Kramm. The self-proclaimed "LEGO-obsessed design student" from Germany re-created the famous castles from the HBO show's title sequence using tiny building blocks, and recently shared his designs in a Reddit video. Yep, the castles move, just like in the opening credits.

Kramm's miniature creations spare no details. The Winterfell model shows off an iconic Weirwood tree, the Titan of Braavos wields his broken sword, and, of course, The Wall's lift lifts up and down. Kramm offers instructions for a couple of the designs on his website, but admits he won't be sharing any others. "Maybe if the the final season was received better, I would have found the motivation," he wrote on Reddit. Welp, at least we'll always have the title sequence (and Kramm's castles) to remember GOT's legacy by.

Kramm shared the details behind his LEGO model of Game of Thrones's Red Keep on Instagram back in April. The Red Keep is famously the capital of the Seven Kingdoms, and once housed the Iron Throne.

The moving Lego model of Winterfell from Game of Thrones ended up being "quite a challenge" for Kramm, but it ended in success! According to his Instagram caption, Kramm is especially proud that you can see the crypt in his creation of the Stark's northern castle.

Kramm's moving Lego model of Pyke (seat of House Greyjoy) came next in his series. He wanted to give the appearance of "a fresh breeze" to this castle, and built the structure accordingly.

Don't take Castle Black's lift for granted on this moving Lego model — it took Kramm hours to perfect! The fourth castle in his Game of Thrones series required meticulous attention to detail, but it resulted in a product even the Lord Commander would be proud of.

The Eyrie, House Arryn's mountain Game of Thrones castle, came next in Kramm's moving Lego series.

Kramm created a miniature city of Braavos from Game of Thrones for his last moving Lego creation. This specific structure is a fan-favourite on Reddit, and many viewers were left baffled by his ability to build a tiny Titan holding a broken sword.

Kramm's video of his moving Game of Thrones Lego castles quickly went viral after he shared it on Reddit. Even though the show has ended, his artistry helps fill the void.
