Ghostbusters' [1] newest instalment was just announced [2], and we already have a spooky teaser to make it that much realer! As previously explained by director and cowriter Jason Reitman, Ghostbusters 3 will serve as a direct sequel to 1989's Ghostbusters II and "will follow the trajectory of the original film." Sony Pictures tweeted out the brief teaser [3] on Jan. 16, and described it as "a little surprise."
The video features Elmer Bernstein's spooky score from the library scene in the original Ghostbusters [4] as someone messes around with some machinery in a barn that also houses a mysterious vehicle under a tarp. When the tarp blows off, it reveals the rusty back of the original Ecto-1! Watch the teaser above and get ready to tangle with some ghosts when the untitled Ghostbusters 3 comes out Summer 2020.
