How Much Sex Is in Fifty Shades Freed?

Brace Yourself — There Will Be More Sex Than Ever Before in the New Fifty Shades Movie

If you, like Ellen DeGeneres, are wondering just how much sex will appear in Fifty Shades Freed, Jamie Dornan has helpfully provided us all with an answer. While stopping by the morning show on Wednesday, Dornan revealed that the third film in the BDSM franchise "feels like a different kind of genre." That being said, the film's tagline is "Don't miss the climax" — rest assured there are going to be plenty of sex scenes. While he doesn't know exactly how many minutes of the movie are devoted to Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele (er, Anastasia Grey) getting it on, apparently there's more sex in the new movie than there is in Fifty Shades of Grey or Fifty Shades Darker.

"Obviously, there's still sex in it. There's people who want to see sex, it seems, so we kept a fair amount [in the movie]. Someone was telling me recently that there's more sex in the third one than the other two, but I don't know. I don't sit there with a timer," he joked. "So, I don't actually know the answer to that. But, there's definitely a thriller aspect to this one. There's really fun car chases, and someone gets kidnapped. There's a lot happening this time."

The "thriller aspect" Dornan brings up is no doubt a reference to twisted character Jack Hyde, who will waste no time in putting Ana's life in danger in Fifty Shades Freed. So, all in all, this is good news: a kidnapping plot to freak you out, and sex scenes for your inner freak. Win-win.
