Janelle Monae turned the Grammys stage "PYNK" on Sunday night in a truly electric performance, and we never want to go back.

The Grammy nominee and queen of psychedelic soul proved that she can truly do it all — sing, dance, play the guitar, and shut a show down. Dressed in a black and white latex bodysuit with sheer garter stockings, Monae paid loving homage to her late mentor Prince while singing a medley of hits from her Grammy-nominated 2018 album, Dirty Computer, including "Make Me Feel," "PYNK," and "Django Jane." The singer started her performance with a bass strapped around her shoulder (similar to Prince's signature instrument) and moonwalked around the stage, surrounded by dancers clad in all white latex, pink velvet bodysuits, and pink pantsuits; she even had dancers wearing the iconic pants from the "PYNK" music video. With all the strobe lighting and fog setting the mood, the entire performance felt like one of her videos!

Monae learned about her Grammy nomination for best album of the year while on CBS This Morning and in response, the singer said, "Being a young, black, queer woman in America, there was something I had to say, and there was a group of people I wanted to celebrate, and I'm happy to be representing them." She added, "I hope they feel seen. I hope they feel heard. I hope they feel loved. And I hope they feel celebrated." There's definitely no way anyone couldn't feel celebrated after a performance like that. Check out the video ahead, and then keep scrolling to see the best pictures from the performance!
