For many people, marching during Saturday's March For Our Lives [3] was a deeply personal act. Countless attendees, who showed their support for gun control all over the country [4], were victims of gun violence themselves, from the outspoken students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school [5] to singer Jennifer Hudson. The Oscar-winner tragically lost her mother, brother, and 7-year-old nephew [6] in 2008 when they were shot and killed [7] by her former brother-in-law William Balfour.

Like Miley Cyrus [8] and Ariana Grande, Hudson showed support for the cause by taking the stage at the march in Washington D.C. and belting out a stunning rendition of the Bob Dylan classic, "The Times They Are A-Changin." With a gospel choir to back her up, Hudson's performance was easily one of the day's most powerful moments (of which there was no shortage of). Watch it above.
