ABC's cancellation of the Roseanne reboot came swiftly after Roseanne Barr posted her (now-deleted) racist tweets about Barack Obama's former White House adviser, Valerie Jarrett. As news of the show's cancellation spread, stars began responding, including Jimmy Kimmel on his late night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Kimmel began by addressing Barr's horrific tweet head-on, explaining that her sentiments did not "sit well with ABC management, or anyone with a brain." While he jokes about the show's cancellation, he also expresses some seemingly genuine worries about ABC doing away with their top-performing show, since Jimmy Kimmel Live and Roseanne are both housed by the network. Never fear, Kimmel provides a solution he thinks "makes this work for everyone." Check out the video above to see Kimmel's proposed answer. Spoiler: John Goodman would have to put in some extra hours.
