20 Songs the Jonas Brothers NEED to Perform During Their Happiness Begins Tour

14/06/2019 - 12:00 PM

The Jonas Brothers are getting ready to embark on their Happiness Begins tour [1], and I'm already thinking about the setlist. They have so many songs [2] to choose from! While I can't wait to hear their new hits live, I'm really looking forward to jamming out to all the classics. It's pretty obvious that singles like "Year 3000" and "Burnin' Up" will make the list since they're crowd favourites, but what about their deep-cut songs? Seriously, I want tracks from A Little Bit Longer and It's About Time!

Kevin, Joe, and Nick have already teased what's to come in recent interviews, but I also have a few ideas in mind (I even put it in order for them). Even though they couldn't possibly sing all of their best hits during one show (as much as I wish they would), they could mashup some of their older songs with their newer ones! Until the brothers officially announce what's to come, though, I'll just replay this dream setlist on repeat.

"That's Just The Way We Roll"

It just wouldn't be right to start a Jonas Brothers concert with any other song.

"Sucker"

Naturally, the brothers' next song would be their hit single from Happiness Begins, "Sucker [3]."

"Cool"

Since the beginning of the tour is taking place in the Summer, their second single "Cool [4]" seems like the perfect followup to "Sucker."

"Only Human"

The brothers could then pick up the pace with their catchy bop, "Only Human."

"Don't Throw It Away"

OK, the brothers need to perform this song during their show. The harmonies are just too good to pass up, and I need to see it live.

"I Believe/When You Look Me in the Eyes" Mashup

Naturally, Nick needs to have a moment to sing his love song to Priyanka, who will probably be in the audience during a few shows. What would make it even better is combing it with "When You Look Me in the Eyes." Talk about a swoon-worthy moment.

"Paranoid"

After singing a few hits from Happiness Begins, the brothers could throw it back with this single from Lines, Vines and Trying Times.

"S.O.S."

Following "Paranoid," the brothers could go even further back in their music catalogue with this catchy single from their self-titled album. PS to Kevin, please bring back the iconic "S.O.S." dance break [5].

"Tonight"

As the night progresses, the brothers could then sing their hit "Tonight." Perfect, right?

"Shelf"

Shifting the tone a little, the brothers could then sing their underrated breakup song, "Shelf."

"Pushin' Me Away"

I can't think of a better follow up to "Shelf" than "Pushin' Me Away." I'm ready to scream the lyrics and get mad at my high school boyfriend all over again!

"Happy When I'm Sad"

After getting the crowd hyped up with their old-school hits, the brothers could start to progress into slower songs with this happy/sad track from their latest album.

"Black Keys/A Little Bit Longer" Mashup

Nick obviously has to sing "A Little Bit Longer [6]" on the piano, but I'm also desperate to hear "Black Keys" from their album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times. Thankfully, he's already performed this mashup [7] before, so it shouldn't be too hard!

"Love Her/Lovebug" Mashup

"Love Her" is basically "Lovebug [8]" 2.0, so why not sing them together? I also wouldn't attest to a mashup of "Love Her" and Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself." Just saying!

"Hesitate/Turn Right" Mashup

If you've never heard "Turn Right [9]," are you even a Jonas Brothers fan? But seriously, I need this mashup in my life along with approximately 1,000 tissues.

"Please Be Mine"

After watching the Jonas Brothers' Chasing Happiness documentary [10], I would be completely shocked if they don't sing "Please Be Mine." After all, it's the first song they ever wrote together! I would definitely love to see them perform a strip-down version of the song as they sit on stools in the centre of the stage. Yes, I've given this a lot of thought.

"Goodnight and Goodbye"

As the concert starts to come to a close, I can't think of a better song than "Goodnight and Goodbye." Not to mention, their lyrics about being on a roller coaster ride are the perfect transition for the next song on my list.

"Rollercoaster"

"Rollercoaster" truly is the anthem of the Happiness Begins era as it perfectly describes the Jonas Brothers' journey as a band and brothers. So naturally, it has to be the last song on the official setlist.

Encore: "Year 3000"

Of course, it wouldn't be a Jonas Brothers concert without "Year 3000." After wrapping up their set, the brothers could come back out for an encore.

Encore: "Burnin' Up"

After getting the crowd heated up, the brothers could then turn the temperature hotter with this straight fire hit. Talk about ending on a high note!
