The CW's upcoming series Katy Keene already looks like a promising watch, thanks to the new trailer. The clip introduces us to the title character (Lucy Hale) as she unites with friend Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray) — yes, the same Josie from Riverdale, since the show takes place in the Archie Comics universe. The two begin to live together with another roommate named Jorge (Jonny Beauchamp) in New York City as they work to make their dreams in fashion, music, and the Broadway scene come true. Another hopeful, Pepper Smith (Julia Chan), is determined to open her own version of Andy Warhol's Factory.
If you've been looking for a show that inspires you to work hard and fight for what you want, something tells us this will fit the bill. Watch the latest teaser above before the show premieres on Feb. 6, 2020 in the US. Other related CW shows (like Riverdale) have dropped on Netflix in the UK on the same day, and while we're keeping our fingers crossed this is what happens with Katy Keene, there's been no word yet on whether that's the cast. In any case, we'll keep you posted as we learn more.
