Kennedy Holmes Singing Adele's "Turning Tables" on The Voice

This 13-Year-Old's Voice Audition Was So Outstanding, Jennifer Hudson Joined Her For a Duet

When I was 13 years old, the biggest competition I faced was my middle school clique rivaling to have the most charms on our bracelets, but things are a lot different for Kennedy Holmes, who had all FOUR judges on The Voice fighting to have her on their team. During Monday night's blind auditions, the 13-year-old star from St. Louis, MO, performed a jaw-dropping rendition of Adele's "Turning Tables," where Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton all turned around for her. She was the first four-chair turn of this season thus far, and it's no secret why: this girl is so freaking talented.

But her impressive performance wasn't even the best part about her audition — the moment Hudson started speaking, Holmes burst into tears, explaining that one of her first-ever performances was of Hudson's "I Am Changing" hit. And just like that, Hudson grabbed a mic and joined Holmes on stage for one of the most incredible blind auditions this series has ever seen. Watch the video above and see why Shelton called Holmes "the greatest artist of all time."
