We thought it was the Summer of scamming, but obviously it's the Fall of whodunnits! On the heels of Netflix's record-breaking Adam Sandler- and Jennifer Aniston-led comedy, Murder Mystery [1], comes Knives Out, a murder mystery that basically stars all your favourite actors. Daniel Craig [2] and LaKeith Stanfield investigate the murder of a family patriarch — Harlan Thrombey, played by Christopher Plummer — whose children and grandchildren seem . . . less than bereaved about his death.

Said family includes Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, and Michael Shannon, so we have no doubt the family's Sunday dinners are wild AF. The trailer alludes to the murder being at the hands of one of the family members, as well as giving us some truly poetic lines like the one delivered by Evans to Craig's heavily accented Detective Benoit Blanc: "What is this, CSI: KFC?"
