Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper Joke at 2019 Golden Globes

Here's How Lady Gaga Reacted When Hosts Joked About Her "100 People" Quote at the Globes

"There can be 100 people in a room and 99 of them don't believe in you . . ."

You probably already know how that quote ends and who it comes from. Considering how A Star Is Born completely won over the world and introduced us to the beautiful friendship between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, everyone has heard Gaga detail how Cooper's support of her "changed" her life. Several times over. But Lady Gaga firmly stands behind her favourite anecdote about her A Star Is Born costar and director, and she's not afraid to say it!

During Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg's opening monologue at the 2019 Golden Globes, the Killing Eve star referenced Gaga's repeated phrase, saying, "And it just proves — and I'm just coming up with this now — that there could be 100 people in the room and 99 don't believe in you. You just need one to believe in you and that was Bradley Cooper!" To which the artist being quoted cried out, "It's TRUE!" Cooper, who is of course sitting beside Gaga, bursts into laughter.

Despite how fun it is to joke about Gaga retelling the story, it's also incredibly sweet that the costars grew so close during production. Their chemistry is what makes A Star Is Born so amazing! We can't wait to see what else they get up to during the rest of award season.
