Laura Linney and Rodrigo Santoro Were Dumped Before Love Actually, and We're Crying
It might have been 16 years since Love Actually came into our lives, but we're still learning little tidbits that make us silently weep (we're looking at you Emma Thompson crying scene).
Laura Linney shared a story while on The Graham Norton Show and it's possible that we now love her character Sarah's brief romance with colleague Karl even more. Linney revealed that right before filming Love Actually both she and her love interest, Rodrigo Santoro, had been dumped in real life, and were "very broken hearted" while filming. She recalled saying to a heartbroken Rodrigo, "all day long we get to make each other feel better." Laura did express that she thinks "there is a sweetness to the scene because of that". We're definitely not crying.
