Love Island 2019 Episode Recap Week 3

The Best Bits From Love Island: Yewande, Danny & Arabella's Love Triangle

This week on Love Island, we say goodbye to Joe and Elma and hello to hot new islanders Jordan, Tom, and Arabella (who are all models, by the way).

Our favourite couple in the villa is definitely shifting to Amber and Michael, who have been sharing tons of sweet, drama-free moments. On the other hand, Curtis and Amy's 'mum and dad' status got a bit shook by the arrival of Arabella the supermodel. But they're not the only couple being tested by the new girl. Danny lands in deep water when he mocks Yewande's affections behind her back.

Elma didn't get much of a chance for viewers to get to know her so it wasn't surprising that she got voted out instead of Anton, whose humour and generosity have really grown on us. With the case of Jucie, viewers were fed up with Joe's controlling behaviour and Lucie's constant crying. We have a feeling that Amy was particularly pleased with how it all turned out – until she wasn't. Soon after Arabella entered the villa, Amy's confidence in her half relationship with Curtis was tested.

Also, what on earth were Molly-Mae and Tommy doing in the "fetal position"?! Read ahead for the best bits from this week on Love Island.

Amber and Michael Are Currently Our Favourite Couple

You can tell a lot about how someone loves by how they treat their friends. Amber's loyalty to the girls has elevated her to "favourite girl in the villa." Michael is equally as supportive of his friends, he's sweet and affectionate with Amber, and did you see his sexy shower scene? Their connection seems real and natural. We're looking forward to their relationship blossoming.

Jesus Christ! What Is the Fetal Position?

I think we can speak for the entire UK when we saw Molly-Mae and Tommy getting frisky under the covers on national television. The tea is scalding! Whatever they were doing in the "fetal position," Tommy proved to be a gentleman and kept the details to himself.

Danny Shows His True Colours with Arabella

How the tides (and the heads) have swiftly turned. After Danny asked Yewande to show him more affection, and she did, he then goes to Arabella to complain about Yewande and mock her efforts. Danny is obviously not the "nice guy" that he was trying to make us believe. Red flag.

Yewande Shows Affection by Marking Her Territory

Whatever you're feeling about Yewande's awkward attempt at keeping her man, Arabella definitely pulled a Regina George by telling her to back off of Danny in a very condescending way. Not nice. Danny and Arabella should just couple up so we can vote them both off. Also, doesn't Arabella still have a boyfriend on the outside?

Curtis Turns a 7 into a 20

Arabella really shook up the villa this week. During the "snogathon", Curtis voted her as the best kisser, over his half girlfriend Amy. This made Amy embarrassed about her snogging skills, insecure about her connection with Curtis, and furious with the rest of the islanders for laughing about it. Thankfully, the producers threw them a bone and arranged a sweet date for the pair to work things out to secure their spot as one of our favourite couples.
