Love Island's Sherif Leaves the Villa After Breaking Rules

Love Island's Sherif Has Left the Villa After Breaking the Rules

The drama in the Love Island villa has reached new heights with the news that Sherif Lanre has been removed from the villa after breaking the rules. A statement from ITV confirmed the news, stating that the 20-year-old had come to a mutual decision with producers to leave the villa. We don't know exactly which rule was broken, but no doubt more news will break soon enough.

Sherif said, "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa. I regret that I didn't conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20-year-old guy, it's something I know I will take on board and learn from. I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside."

The chef and semi-professional rugby player had only been in the villa for nine days. He was coupled up with Anna Vakili, and despite a slow start, the pair seemed to be getting closer, having shared a kiss during a recent episode. Anna chose to stick with Sherif in the first recoupling, even though Anton was also pursuing her.

With Sherif's departure, the villa now contains an even number of guys and girls, thanks to the addition of new boy Danny this weekend. No doubt that won't be the case for long, and we can expect another bombshell to drop soon.
