Love Island’s Maura Will be on This Morning in UK

Love Island’s Maura Will Be Back on Your TV Screen Very Soon, and It’s About Time

Love Island 2019's MVP Maura Higgins will be back on your televisions very soon, so you can focus all your angsty energy on missing Ovie now. Maura will be joining This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, where she will be doing what she does best — unapologetically dishing out love advice in her signature, no-nonsense style.

According to a press release from ITV, she will also be hosting her own segment, "Maura Than Meets The Eye". The segment will show Maura travelling around the country taking up a variety of challenges that will be aired as a series of short films. ITV has a history of giving ex-reality stars a start in presenting — Rylan, Vicky Pattison, and Toff, for example — which is exactly what they have done here with Maura. "Maura was the standout star of this year's villa antics with her straight-talking opinionated views," said This Morning editor Martin Frizell. "We're delighted she now joins a long list of successful reality stars presenting on This Morning."

We're not the only ones excited about this news. Maura is seemingly pretty chuffed with her new role, too. "I'm getting the flutters about joining This Morning. I can't believe it. It's beyond my wildest dreams! I've grown up watching Phillip, Holly, Eamonn, Ruth, and the whole team. Mad to think I'm now part of that iconic family! Can't wait to crack on," she said.

Maura will be speaking with Eamonn and Ruth on Monday Aug. 5, so we will hopefully find out when Maura will be back on our screens in that interview. Meanwhile, an unofficial petition for Maura to be cast in I'm a Celebrity. . . Get Me Out of Here has also popped up on Twitter, and we fully endorse this message.
