Macaulay Culkin Refuses to Watch Home Alone, and He Has a Very Good Reason

All of the Home Alone movies have pretty much reached classic status, with many people religiously marathon-ing them around the holidays. But for star Macaulay Culkin, that is not the case. During a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 37-year-old actor admitted he actually doesn't tune in when the movies come on.

"I've had people want to sit down and watch it with me," he explained. "I can't watch it the same way other people do." Culkin revealed that when he does watch, he thinks more about his time on set than the actual plot of the movies. Culkin also said that when holiday season arrives, he tries not to leave his house. "Yes, I definitely don't," he said. "It's my season . . . Macaulay season. I try to go out less and less around that time of year."

And why's that? Well, one of the reasons behind his decision is because so many people ask him to re-create his famous scared expression from Home Alone, with his hands clasped on either side of his face.
