Mandy Moore and Shane West's A Walk to Remember Reunion Will Make Your Heart Burst
Mandy Moore and Shane West's bond is still as sweet as when they costarred in A Walk to Remember 17 years ago. The former costars made us fall in love with them all over again when they reunited at Moore's Walk of Fame ceremony on Monday. During his speech, West took a moment to reflect on what it was like working with Moore on the 2002 Nicholas Sparks film.
"Not only was this film a wonderful experience in every way, it also gave me the chance to fall for this fantastic woman," he said. "Your energy is irresistible and your heart is second to none. I always knew you were incredibly talented and I always knew you were going to go on to do big things and amazing things, and you have . . . I couldn't be more proud of you."
As if that speech wasn't enough to make us turn into mush, the two later took the nostalgia up a notch by recreating their iconic pose from the movie poster. "Stars have always sort of been our thing," Moore wrote. "Thankful to @theshanewest for his kind words on this very special day, one which I will never forget. It was a walk (of fame) to remember.🌟" Now if you don't mind, I'm just going to rewatch the movie and sob.
