Celebrity dopplegängers exist, y'all, and the world has found yet another one. After incorrectly identifying Jesse Plemons as Matt Damon in Black Mirror, Twitter is convinced that Margot Robbie is starring in Netflix's Sex Education. The character in question, Maeve, is actually played by newcomer Emma Mackey. Robbie, it turns out, is too busy filming the Harley Quinn stand-alone movie, prepping for the Barbie movie, and generally being an A-list Hollywood actress to play a high-schooler in a British comedy series. (Lame, right?)
That hasn't stopped people from being downright befuddled when they are confronted with evidence that Robbie is not, in fact, in the show. At this point, even Mackey has commented on the comparisons, telling Vulture: "I'm very flattered because Margot Robbie is insanely beautiful, but it's always annoying to have people focusing on your looks as opposed to what you're actually doing on the job. But also, I'll take it. There are worse people to be compared to."
