The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel [1] includes a major Amy Sherman-Palladino crossover this season. In the latest trailer for the third season, we get a brief glimpse of Gilmore Girls [2] alum Liza Weil. Though we don't get any details about her mysterious new character, she seems to be pretty close with Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) as they have a heart to heart about performing for an audience. "You see the world," she says. "The audiences, when they're great, are really great. And you're not having to go to your grave not having done anything interesting."

The rest of the trailer focuses on Midge as she tries to juggle her professional and personal life after accepting Shy Baldwin's offer to head out on tour as his opening act, leading her and Susie (Alex Borstein) to Miami, military bases, and more. Oh, and apparently they cross paths with Sterling K. Brown, which we can already bet will be one of the highlights of the third season.

As for the rest of the cast, you can expect old favourites to return. In addition to Midge's parents Abe (Tony Shalhoub) and Rose (Marin Hinkle), it looks like her comedic rival Sophie Lennon (Jane Lynch [3]) will have a few run-ins with Susie. And Joel (Michael Zegen)? Well, Joel still seems to be struggling to support Midge's dreams while dealing with the ups and downs of his own life. Given the steaming conclusion to their arc in season two, we're excited to see how their relationship fares during her new tour schedule.
