It all started with a tweet from Grande that referenced the current feud between Drake and Kanye West [5]. "Guys, I know there are grown men arguing online rn but Miley and I dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y'all could please jus [sic] behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that'd be so sick thank u," she wrote [6].

Shortly after, Cyrus chimed in [7] to support Grande's plea for peace and to plug her new song. She wrote, "Didn't they hear the news ?! War IS over ! Thank you , next!" Hours later, Grande dropped her single, "Imagine," [8] while Cyrus released her collaboration with Mark Ronson and Sean Ono Lennon, a cover of "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)." [9]
