Miley Cyrus Sounds JUST Like Godmother Dolly Parton in This Stunning Live Performance

When musicians start promoting their latest single nonstop, doing countless appearances on talk shows and the radio, sometimes I find myself hating the song, no matter how much I initially loved it (Ed Sheeran, I'm looking at you). But that has decidedly not been the case with Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson's recent collaboration, "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart."

After watching Cyrus belt out the country-tinged track in the song's trippy music video, seeing her perform the song live on Saturday Night Live, and listening to the stripped-down acoustic version, I'm still just as obsessed as I was when I first pressed play, if not more so. Now I have a whole new performance of it to cherish, thanks to Cyrus and Ronson's appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Ever since "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" came out in November, fans have been pointing out the similarities between Cyrus's voice on the track and that of her godmother, country queen Dolly Parton. Of course, this isn't the first time the 26-year-old singer has drawn those comparisons — her covers of Parton's 1974 hit "Jolene" are perfection, FYI. But the performance on Ellen had me doing double takes to make sure it was actually Cyrus at the mic and not Parton.
