Miley Cyrus Singing "The Climb" at March For Our Lives Video

Miley Cyrus Performs a Powerful Rendition of "The Climb" at March For Our Lives

Miley Cyrus was one of many celebrities who showed support for gun control at the March For Our Lives rally on Saturday afternoon. As hundreds of thousands gathered in Washington D.C. — and across the rest of the country — to send a message to congress that they've had #Enough, Cyrus hit the stage to perform an emotional rendition of her 2009 hit "The Climb," all while holding a sign reading "Never Again." The singer also wore a grey sweatshirt with the hashtag #MSDStrong written across the front as a nod to the victims of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school in February.

"Thank you for being here. I love you so much. Never again," she said. "You guys are so incredible. I find myself lucky to be in presence of all of you wonderful people fighting for what is right. Love y'all so much, thank you." It shouldn't come as a surprise that her beautiful performance might make you a little misty-eyed.
