Miley Cyrus was one of many celebrities [4] who showed support for gun control [5] at the March For Our Lives [6] rally on Saturday afternoon. As hundreds of thousands gathered in Washington D.C. — and across the rest of the country [7] — to send a message to congress that they've had #Enough, Cyrus hit the stage to perform an emotional rendition of her 2009 hit "The Climb," all while holding a sign reading "Never Again." The singer also wore a grey sweatshirt with the hashtag #MSDStrong written across the front as a nod to the victims of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school [8] in February.
"Thank you for being here. I love you so much. Never again," she said. "You guys are so incredible. I find myself lucky to be in presence of all of you wonderful people fighting for what is right. Love y'all so much, thank you." It shouldn't come as a surprise that her beautiful performance might make you a little misty-eyed. Watch it above, and then check out the rest of our coverage of March For Our Lives. [9]
