Miley Cyrus Sings "Walking in Memphis" With Marc Cohn Video

Miley Cyrus and Marc Cohn's Performance of "Walking in Memphis" Left Me Floating on Air

Miley Cyrus is back with another classic music cover that reminds us how damn talented she really is. The 26-year-old singer made a surprise appearance at the Beale Street Music Festival on May 4 in her home state of Tennessee, and performed a 20-minute set in partnership with Facebook's More Together campaign. As part of her mini-concert, she sang "We Can't Stop," "Party in the USA," her newest single "Nothing Breaks Like the Heart," and "Walking in Memphis" with its original recording artist, Marc Cohn.

"The only way my dad could make me happy is by taking me to the gates of Graceland," Cyrus reflected on her memories of Memphis, while wearing an Elvis t-shirt. "We would take these long drives and I would listen to the song probably everyone listens to when they drive to Memphis, and that's 'Walking in Memphis.'"

She brought out Cohn, "the legend himself," to perform alongside her. Kind of serendipitous that they ended up singing together "in the middle of the pouring rain," huh? Watch the video above to catch their duet. A beautiful tribute to Tennessee, indeed.
