Milo Ventimiglia Teases the Major Twist in This Is Us Season 4: "The World Expands"

Buckle up, because it sounds like This Is Us is going to take us on another ride when it returns for season four this September. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night, Milo Ventimiglia was pressed about the twist in the upcoming premiere. "I can't give away those f*cking answers," he said without missing a beat. However, after taking a few moments to think, he teased that "the world expands." Well, what in the world could that mean?

Ventimiglia's TV wife, Mandy Moore, recently spoke about the twist when she sat down with The Wrap in July, adding that she definitely didn't see it coming. "Not to build it up too much, but it feels analogous to the pilot where it's like, 'Whoa, I was not expecting that!' It's so beautifully done." As fans will recall, the show completely flipped the script when it was revealed that Rebecca and Jack's scenes are actually set in the past.

Moore added that there are a few more things that happen in the premiere episode that "change the game for the show." "We're still evolving and hopefully still going to blow people's minds because even I was like, 'Whoa, that's really, really incredible.' And I feel like I'm clued in to most everything that's happening, but they did it in such a beautiful way, and I didn't expect it."
